Constance (Connie) was born to Timothy and Lillian O'Brien on October 16th, 1927 in Boston, Massachusetts. Her father was a lifelong Naval Admiral that placed the family throughout the country in her childhood years. Some of Connie's favorite places were Treasure Island in San Francisco where she loved boating and fishing, as well as Coronado, Ca., riding horses on the beach. She graduated with a bachelor degree in history from Stanford University Cum Laude in 1948. She married Robert J. Evoy in 1950 and made her home in Renton, Washington for over 60 years. She served as Executive Assistant at Veteran Administration Hospital in Seattle for 15 years and retired in 1989. She was preceded in death by Robert in 2000 and her daughter Shannon in 2007. Connie was inspirational to all who knew her, loved to debate politics and was a staunch advocate for human rights and equal opportunity for all. Her impression she left on those she loved was immeasurable and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Molly A. Evoy of Moscow, Id., son Robert J. Evoy of Palm Springs, Ca., son Timothy J. Evoy of Covington, Wa, and son John M. Evoy of Covington, Wa. She had 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The service will be held on July 18th, 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church which is located at 25810 156th Avenue S.E. Covington, WA 98042. A reception will be held immediately following at 25509 156th ave s.e. Covington, 1 block north of the Church. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Autism Society of America
